Aren't summaries where the key points are?

I was short on study time and missed a lot of class, so I tried memorizing every chapter summary in the textbook we used for a freshman finance class. That’s where all of the key info is supposed to be, right? Maybe the summaries sucked, maybe the prof intentionally tried to penalize anyone who relied on the textbook exclusively, but whatever the case, I failed the class. I tried gradehacking, it failed, so I’ll just have to be more clever with my gradehacking strategies next time. :)

That’s a pretty high-risk strategy; do you even know if the professor was teaching from the textbook exclusively? :) You should check out my post on showing up for class!
