Saw this tip on another site. If you’re running late on an assignment that’s submitted electronically, take an image file and change the extension from .jpg to .doc and rename it to the assignment name. To the instructor it will look like a corrupted file! They won’t find out for a few days, which gives you extra time to complete the assignment. It looks like you submitted the assignment on time and that it’s a system error.
This strategy is tantamount to cheating and these types of tips will not be tolerated on this site. We’re here to discuss legitimate methods for improving grades. Before posting tips, ask yourself if there’s any way you could get into trouble for the strategy if the instructor knew about it. I’m closing this thread but leaving it available as an example of tips that are not allowed on this site.
