My best gradehack in college (I’m a Junior) was moving from my parents’ house my first year to a house a block from campus the next year. No more 2-hour roundtrip commutes on the bus, no more conference calls to figure out group projects, no long family dinners that I had to help make. I suddenly had all this free time, access to the library whenever I needed it, housemates in the same program who could help me out, etc. My average went up about 8% the year I moved to campus and I attribute the gain entirely to the move.
